I am proud of the things my ancestors accomplished, and I am grateful for the sacrifices they made.

It has helped me to feel more connected to my community. I have met other people who are interested in my family’s history, and I have made new friends. It has given me a sense of purpose. I feel like I am doing something important by preserving my family’s history. I am grateful for the opportunity to trace my family tree, and I am glad. That it has given me a sense of belonging at heritage sites. I hope that my story will inspire others to explore. Their own family history and connect with their heritage. I have always been fascinated by my family history. When I was a child, I would listen to my grandparents tell stories about their childhoods and their parents’ lives.

I wanted to walk in their footsteps and imagine what their lives were like.
